Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal, known as the “Palace of Winds,” is one of Jaipur’s most iconic architectural marvels, built in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. Its unique five-story façade, with 953 intricately designed jharokhas, allowed royal women to observe street life while remaining unseen. Made of pink sandstone, the structure glows beautifully in the morning light and remains a symbol of Jaipur’s rich heritage. A masterpiece of Rajput artistry and engineering, Hawa Mahal is a must-visit landmark in the Pink City.
